Welcome to the official Forest Park Christian School web site. This webpage is developed in order to provide you, your family and the families of others with the information about our school and our objectives. Our school was established in order to provide Christian education to children in the Forest Park, Georgia and surrounding communities. Our goal is to provide as much support as possible for our students and parents. So please, look around and enjoy the site. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Throughout the course of the Summer, new students are being tested and registered, the school facility is being worked on, and the finalization of old school business is being processed. Even though many do not think about it, we are working at a steady pace to be prepared for the new school year, which is just around the corner. Our newly-graduated seniors have gone and are getting ready for college and our new-to-be seniors are excited about what God is going to do. We continue to thank God for His wondrous blessings and are very much in anticipation of what He will do in this ministry.

Student of the Week

This week's Student of the Week is eighth grader James Whitehead Jr. This is his ninth year here at F.P.C.S. He is the brother of Janeen (6th), Jeanea (11th), and Jamenda (12th). James enjoys playing sports, video games, and talking on the phone. He is the captain and point guard of our JV and Varsity boys basketball teams. When asked what he likes about the school he replies, “ I like that there are a lot of good people here.” And about his teacher, Mr. Lee, he says,” I like him because he's nice.” James plans to attend the University of Georgia and study to be a Computer Technician or a Physical Education Teacher and if that doesn't work out he wants to become a Professional Basketball or Baseball player. Don't give up James because anything is possible. James would like to add a “Hello” to all his friends upstairs and downstairs. The Newspaper staff would like to congratulate James Whitehead on becoming this weeks' “Student of the Week.”

Parent Teacher Organization
The Parent/Teacher Organization was established to assist FPCS with various activities and to bring about togetherness between the school and the parents. The PTO hopes to accomplish one major task for the whole school year. The goal is to raise funds through non-traditional fundraising methods. There is also a Centurion Club. Many of you may be wondering, "What is a Centurion Club?" The Centurion Club is one whereby an individual or family donates to the school $100.00 or more; and for their donation, their names are placed on a plaque (displayed outside of the school office) for recognition. This donation is also tax deductible. The PTO is scheduled to meet every second Tuesday of each month. The PTO enhances the school by every parent donating at least sixteen hours of their time per school year to do things around the school and/or donate money. We believe that this is a small group with lots of things to accomplish within the 2004-2005 school year. Click to visit their website
